AVIS Car Rental at Seattle Airport

Seattle Tacoma International Airport operates a separate Rental Car Facility, which lies about 8 minutes to the northeast of the airport's main terminal and can be reached by taking a free shuttle bus that stops on the lower level of Baggage Claim. The Avis counter is located at 3150 South 160th Street, Sea-Tac, WA 98188 and can be contacted on tel +1 206 433 5231. Avis is open for business 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Simply leave the Baggage Claim area through exits 2 or 15 and head to either the northern or southern end of the terminal, where the pickup points can be found for the shuttles. The buses run every 5 minutes, 24/7.

The minimum age for Avis renters is 21 years. Renters aged 21 to 24 pay an additional underage driver's fee ($27.00 per day per person, in 2019). All additional drivers must be at least 25 years old and must have the same driving qualifications as the main renter.

Credit cards accepted by Avis Sea-Tac include American Express, AT&T Capital, Diner's Club, Discover Network, ChinaUnionPay, GE Capital, JCB, Mastercard, PHH, Sears and Visa. Avis also accepts debit cards with the Mastercard and Visa logos, but renter using debit cards must be at least 25 years old and their name must be on the debit card. Prepaid debit and gift cards are not accepted.

Avis has another rental office, located in Downtown Seattle, about 8 miles from the airport. It is at 2724 4th Avenue South and can be contacted on tel +1 206 682 7029. This Avis office is open from Mondays to Fridays from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. On Sundays the office opens from 8.00 am to noon.

Another office can be found at 1919 5th Avenue, also in Downtown Seattle. This office can be contacted on tel +1 206 448 1700. It is open from Mondays to Fridays from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm.
